We make something called gallettes. It's like the fried dough you can get at fairs. Fill up a deep frying pan 1/2 full with veg. oil or Crisco to about 300F or so. Roll out the dough and cut into squares, rectangles, whatever. Slice a little cut into the middle of each one. Fry until golden on one side, flip, do the same on other side. Remove to paper towels to drain. Slather those hot babies with butter, and there you go! Some like to top with Cinnamon sugar but I'm a purest. Try it, I think you might enjoy it.
